GOLD GRANULAT

 

Because of its shape, it is often called gold nuggets. For the production we press liquid gold through a sieve. From the sieve, it drips into cold water to give its characteristic form. In contrast to investment gold, Rug gold granules are subject to VAT in Europe.

 

SILVER GRANULAT

 

Due to its antibacterial properties, it is widely used in medicine. Moreover, it is very conductive for both heat and electricity. It is therefore used in photocameras, computers, batteries, catalysts and mirrors.

 

PLATINUM SPONGE

 

Due to its large surface area, platinum sponge is used as a catalyst for hydrogenation / dehydrogenation.

   

PALLADIUM SPONGE

 

Palladium sponge can absorb up to 850 times its volume of hydrogen and thus serves the storage of hydrogen - among other things in hydrogen cars.

 

Rhodium

 

Similar to platinum and palladium, low reactivity and high catalytic activity are also typical for rhodium. For example, it is used in vehicle catalysts for the reduction of nitrogen oxides.

 

Ruthenium

 

Ruthenium is used as a by-product in the production of platinum. It is indispensable as a catalyst in various chemical processes.

 

IRIDIUM POWDER

 

Due to its material properties, iridium can only be processed with difficulty. However, this is also its great advantage. Therefore, iridium is often a component of alloys which give it hardness and brittleness.
